Two years ago, I stood in line for nearly 6 hours to meet Ree Drummond, The Pioneer Woman. Last week, I did it again. This time, I started further back in line, but only had to wait about 3.5 hours. Ree was in town for a book signing, for her newest cookbook: Dinnertime. I cannot wait to delve into it to pick out all the new recipes I want to try. I waited for about 2 hours by myself, and then Yung joined me after he got out of work. We had some nice conversations with our new friends we met in line. Some people had driven hours from all over Texas and Oklahoma to meet Ree.
My favorite thing about The Pioneer Woman, her show, her blog, and her books, is how personal everything is. I love following the details of her life and admire the legacy she is building.
