Meet Connie

Hi! My name is Connie.
There was a time when I wanted to be a ballerina:

I haven't changed. I still want to (secretly) be a ballerina. I have the same big, goofy smile, and I still love cupcakes (but I now use my manners while in public).

I make a whole lot of goals and a whole lot of lists. If I don't write it down, I will forget. My memory is not what it used to be. Thus, an important reason for this blog.

I was born in Pennsylvania, grew up in Louisiana, spent my high school years in Southeast Asia (Malaysia and Singapore), moved to Texas for college, and have lived here ever since.

My favorite shows are Gilmore Girls, Veronica Mars, and Friends. That's it. Forever and always.

The keys to my heart include but are not limited to: everything Anthropologie, Lauren James sweet tees, and Kendra Scott studs. 

I am a big advocate for clean eating, but I'm a junk food junkie at heart. Pizza and cheese fries for life. And salad. Lots and lots of salad.

I love the Les Mills group workout classes.  I want to love yoga too.

I grew up taking ballet, modern, jazz, piano, and flute. My knack for being busy started out young.

I am working on leaving a legacy. 

I have a goldendoodle. His name is Professor James Hidalgo Moriarty. 

I am a pediatric nurse practitioner by day, but my heart is for my family, friends, and community. Love your neighbor as yourself, ya'll.

I grew up with the best little brother. 

Yes, that's two birthday cakes for me. I won the cookie cake from our local radio station: KYKZ-country music at its best.

We are grateful to have sweet parents who made our childhood wonderful, and continue to support us through adulthood.

We got engaged on October 24, 2015 and could not be more excited! We got married on October 29, 2016, and are high on newlywed life!!
