A Hodgepodge

It seems like every time I blink, another month has passed by. Summer is on the horizon, and I am bracing myself for the Texas heat. I predict lots of pool time and frozen yogurt runs in the months to come.  The past couple weeks have been filled with a hodge podge of activities.  Besides the regular work-school-repeat, cycle, I've squeezed in…

A Katy Trail walk and several meals with great friends. In my eyes, there is always a reason to celebrate over food and cake. The end of a work day…the two hours before sitting in lecture for 5 hours...completing my clinical hours for the semester...birthdays…Sundays…really, any day…

Meet: a handful of my coworkers. Including our sweet attending and amazing chaplain.

A little bit of Love in Motion.  We put together 200 pots with soil and flower bulbs to give out to teachers in the Dallas Independent School District.

A visit to the Perot Museum.  The Perot is a science museum that made its debut in Dallas last December.  I went with my brother when it first opened, and again this time for Social Science, which is an evening event they hold a couple times a year. Definitely a perk to living right in the city.

A special delivery to my little brother. He takes an important test this weekend.

A girls day--

which included a relaxing morning at Drybar (a fun hair salon with mimosas and chick flicks), yummy food (a must), and quality time (shopping & dessert) with close friends.

Wicked--similar to The Nutcracker, in that no matter how many times you watch it, it never gets old.
